Scam universities approaching students for money ??!!!!
Will the certificates they issues be of value?
I first enrolled with Paramount California University, online MBA-Accounting. The website was www.PCU.edu in Dec-15 and they sent me the acceptance and the admission letters by e-mail.
In May 2016, the website became down and lost the contact with them and my student advisor didn't notify me of any thing. I kept searching the web to find them. In December 2016, I found the www.PCU.edu back to life and used the live chat to communicate with them and the give credentials to log in to the student area. The changed to Pacific Cambria University.
But then, they kept the identifier "edu". Al the data were lost and I had to retake the assessments of the courses I finished again. At the end of April/May 2017, the same happened again: lost communications with them. Later, I found the website http://www.pacificcambriauniversity.com and left them many messages and no one responded.
As you see, the identifier changed from "edu" to "com". I also sent e-mails to them using the old address names with new domain name (like info@ & care@***.com. Also no response. In December 2017, on a new search on them, I found that they have a new website, www.pcuedu.com, and tried my user name and password and I successfully logged in.
At that time to complete the MBA program I had to take the assessment of one course and finish another one. On Dec. 30, 2017, I passed the assessment of the last course and finished the program. I waiting for receiving the educational documents.
They must be attested and legalized as per the live chat representatives mentioned before the enrollment: A. The certificate bet attested by the US State Department of Education In Washington DC B. Attested and Legalized by the Embassy of Egypt in Washington DC. C.
Attested and Legalized by the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Egypt in Washington DC. D. Provide US Apostille Certificate (Apostille Convention Attestation for acceptance in 113 nations). E.
Provide the Equivalency Certificate – Get Credit Equalization done by the MEOARE (Middle East Association for Regional Education) as per the grading system set by the Ministry of Higher Education Egypt. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The problem, to me, now is that: (1) Will they mange to do the 5 requirements (A:E) mentioned above? (2) I don't know if the degree certificate will acceptable or not to employers or to any entity as the documents are to be issued from a university without the ".edu" identifier. (3) When I enrolled to Paramount California University (PCU), it had the ".edu" identifier and I ended with Pacific Cambria University (also PCU) but with the identifier ".com".
Won't PCU be held responsible for keeping the status as the time of enrollment to award the students the certificates they expected to earn on enrollment (contracting) and to compensate them for not keeping the contractual terms? At least, they should transfer their students to a university like Paramount California University at the enrollment time? Or, award them the program certificates from a university like Paramount California University at the enrollment time? (4) If they manged to fulfill the 5 requirement mentioned above, will this make the degree certificate acceptable regardless of the ".com" issue?
Under accreditation, https://www.pcuedu.com/why/accreditation/ they mention that they are accredited by the American Board of Higher Education Commission: http://www.abhec.education/search/california/ where their name exists. A.

they changed the name because there were using the web site of paramount California university and after they deceived the students they changed the name.

The same happened to me. I kept searching till I found their active website.
I used my User Name & Password and logged in and completed the program.
Their new website is https://www.pcuedu.com.
I'm waiting for my educational documents.

do some efforts before you register and don't take the easy bath ... little more money and you can get accredit degree .... for better future ... they will till you that they are accredited and give you credit hours against your experience which is not true ...
